Refund Policy
At The Upgrade Academy, we are committed to providing a high-quality educational experience. We understand that circumstances may change, and you may need to request a refund. Please carefully review this policy to understand your rights and obligations.
1. Overview
Our aim is to provide a fair and transparent refund process for all students. While we strive to accommodate individual circumstances, this policy ensures fairness and maintains the integrity of our courses.
2. Eligibility for Refunds
Full Refund Policy:
To qualify for a full refund, you must meet all of the following requirements:
Submit your refund request within 7 days of purchasing your course.
Have consumed less than 25% of the video-learning content.
Have not attended more than one (1) live online class.
Refund requests that fail to meet any of these requirements will not be accepted, and no refund will be issued.
Partial Refund Policy:
Participants who cancel their enrollment after the 7-day purchase window but before attending more than 50% of the live online classes and consuming no more than 50% of the video-learning content may qualify for a 50% refund of the course fee.
Refund requests will not be accepted if:
More than 50% of the course content has been consumed or attended.
An exam voucher or kit has been requested.
No Refund:
Refunds will not be provided under any circumstances after 50% of the course has been consumed or attended.
3. Withdrawal During the Program
If you need to withdraw after consuming or attending more than 50% of the course, refunds will not be issued. However, in exceptional cases of personal hardship, illness, or other significant circumstances, we may consider options for deferred participation in a future course.
4. Refund Request Process
To request a refund, email us at peter@theupgrade.ai with your enrollment details and reason for cancellation. Refund requests must align with the eligibility criteria outlined above.
Refunds will be processed through the original payment method (Stripe or credit card) and may take up to 14 business days to appear in your account.
5. Non-Transferable Fees
Fees for pre-course materials, exam attempts, kits, or other deliverables are non-refundable once accessed or requested.
Administrative or third-party payment processor fees (e.g., Stripe transaction fees) are non-refundable.
6. Exceptions
In exceptional cases, such as program cancellations or significant changes initiated by us, full refunds may be issued regardless of the course timeline or progress.
7. Course Access After Refund
Revocation of Access:
If a refund is issued:
Access to all course content, live sessions, and private resources will be immediately revoked.
By requesting a refund, you agree to forfeit all rights to use materials or resources provided during the course.

Limitation of Liability:
The Upgrade Academy reserves the right to modify this refund policy at any time. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase will govern your refund rights.
The Upgrade Academy is not responsible for any personal or financial losses arising from termination of access due to a refund.
